Contrary to the renders of the Nothing Phone (2) which showed a punch-hole on the left, similar to the Phone (1), the new screenshot shared by the company’s founder Carl Pei has revealed that it could come with a center punch-hole.
As you can see, in the first image shared by Carl Pei, the gap on the left and right side of the status bar are the same, but in the screenshot from the Nothing Phone (1) the clock is slightly moved to the left since there is a punch-hole on the left corner.
The screenshot also reveals that the phone’s resolution is 2412 × 1080 compared to 2400 × 1080 in the Nothing Phone 1. The company already confirmed that the phone will have a 6.7-inch screen, slightly bigger compared to 6.55-inch in the Phone (1).
The company has also confirmed Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and a 4700mAh battery, slightly bigger than the 4500mAh battery in the Phone (1). The phone will run Nothing OS 2.0 out of the box, and the company has also confirmed that the update will be available for Nothing Phone (1) users in August.
